Tomorrow we'll be having a small Futsal competition to raise a bit of money for those affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami of last month.
Hiroshima International School are kindly letting us use their gym free of charge. Many thanks to Wayne for sorting that out.
H.I.S. has already sent a ￥500,000 contribution to the Japanese Red Cross. Today, at their International Festival, they are collecting for UNICEF. All of the money we raise with our tournament will be included with the sum sent to UNICEF.
There will be 8 (hopefully) teams participating and each player will donate ￥2000 to play. The teams are : H.I.S. , FC TARTARUGA, FC MAPS, ST BRAVES, FORUM, THE SHACK, YMCA and a special mystery as yet un-named team.
Molly Malones have kindly donated a cup for the winners along with discount vouchers for the 1st and 2nd place teams. Many thanks to Mark and all at Mollys for that.
